Exterior

As you pull into the crushed gravel circular driveway, this extraordinary home welcomes you with beautiful coastal landscaping that includes moss-covered live oaks, magnolias, palm trees, and native plants. Tall stands of clumping bamboo line either side, shielding you completely from neighbors.

  • The exterior of the home has classic lines with an up-to-date flair and Spanish Mediterranean touches such as the arched steel-and-glass windows, which echo The Cloister. Exterior walls are all poured concrete, covered with white stucco.
  • The roof is the best money can buy and a work of art in itself: Ludowici slate tile in a wonderfully textured light gray. Ludowici tiles are extremely heavy and durable, able to withstand all sorts of weather. Made in the USA with a mix of old-world craftsmanship and modern technology, these roofs come with a 75-year guarantee.
  • All gutters and drainpipes are pure copper, coated in zinc to match the roof and prevent staining. The many balconies feature railings of solid wrought iron, dipped, galvanized, and painted to ensure lasting quality.
  • A striking glass-and-steel front door beckons you inside, offering glimpses of the breathtaking views and spaces that await.

Interior

This one-of-a-kind home is a modern masterpiece. Transitional in design, you can make it as contemporary or cozy as you like, depending on your style preference. Though the home is quite large, all the rooms are well-proportioned and the space flows easily, so it lives very comfortably.

  • There’s a marvelous mix of public and private areas as well as easy indoor/outdoor living with multiple terraces and balconies. The entire home features an exquisite attention to detail, the highest quality you can find in every finish, and exceptional extras wherever you turn; everything is the best of the best.
  • Floors on the first level are granite imported from Portugal, while the second and third levels have white oak hardwood floors. Walls are hand-layered plaster using the old European technique, giving a smooth finish with a luminous sheen and cooling effect. High-end touches include four DaVinci custom gas fireplaces that were hand-built in the USA and feature TouchSmart controls and accent lighting in a variety of colors.
  • Other features include state-of-the-art Lutron smart home technology that can be completely personalized to your specifications; custom cabinetry and moldings throughout; and a bespoke floating stone staircase that was made by hand in Spain. Every room is wired into the sound system, which can be set up as you choose. There’s also a top-tier alarm system.

  • Entry

As soon as you enter through the impressive glass-and-steel front door, your eye is drawn to the splendid views from the great room just beyond.
